You can enhance documents with connectors, basic shapes, and block arrows, as well as with various shapes.

Text boxes are used to enter titles or summaries to the body of the presentation slide.


Insert a shape

To insert a shape:

  1. Click Insert-Shape or the Shape toolbox_icon_shape.png icon on the Menu Bar.
  2. Select shapes such as Line, Connector, Block Arrow, Flowchart, or Callout from the Insert Shape dialog box.
    The pointer will change to indicate that it is currently in drawing mode (+).
  3. Click on the location where you wish the drawing to begin, and then drag the mouse to create the shape you have selected. The shape will be drawn when you release the left-click button of the mouse.

You can draw equation-like shapes on the edit screen.

You can draw different kind of flowcharts on the edit screen.


Stars and Banners

You can draw complex stars and banners on the edit screen.


Callouts

You can draw callouts to be used when inserting additional comments.
