Changes the order of the overlapped objects.

Change Object Order

To change the order of the overlapped objects:

  1. Click on of the overlapped objects.
  2. Do one of the following on the Size and Properties tab of the Multiple Objects task pane.
    • To bring the selected object to front when it overlaps two or more other objects, click the Bring to Front bring2front.png icon under AlignmentOrder.
    • To send the selected object to back when it overlaps two or more other objects, click the Send to Back send2back.png icon under AlignmentOrder.
    • To move the selected object one object forward when it overlaps an other object, click the Bring Forward bring_forward.png icon under AlignmentOrder.
    • To move the selected object one object backward when it overlaps an other object, click the Send Backward send_backward.png icon under AlignmentOrder.

Note

Task pane configuration may vary depending on the number of objects you select

Depending on the number of objects you select, the task pane or configuration of it may vary. For example, if you select one shape object, the Text Box and Shape task pane appears. If you select multiple shape objects, the Multiple Objects task pane appears.
