Paragraph Properties

A unit that follows multiple sentences and then changes lines depending on the context is called a paragraph.

Pressing <Enter> while you are typing will divide the paragraph. You can change paragraph properties, such as indentation/express, alignment, and line spacing, based on paragraphs.


Paragraph Properties

To modify paragraph properties:

  1. Select the paragraph to be modified.
  2. Do one of the following.
    • To modify paragraph alignment, click Format-Alignment and then one of the alignments you wish to apply to the paragraph.
    • To change paragraph line spacing, click Format-Line Spacing to set the line spacing as desired.

Align-Specify the alignment of the selected paragraph.
  • Align Left <CTRL+L>: Align the paragraph to the left.
  • Align Center <CTRL+E>: Align the paragraph to the center.
  • Align Right <CTRL+L>: Align the paragraph to the right.
Line Spacing-Specify the line spacing of the selected paragraph. You can easily specify line spacing by selecting a predefined value from the list.
IndentTabSet indent to the selected paragraph.
OutdentSHIFT+TABSet outdent to the selected paragraph.
