Hide the Menu Bar, the Style Bar, and the task pane to display data on the expanded area. You can focus on data only by hiding unnecessary parts of the window. The formula bar always appears on the window, therefor, you need to hide it manually in the Reading View mode.

Switch to Reading View

Perform the following to switch from the Editing View mode to the Reading View mode.

  1. Click View-Reading View.
  2. Check data in the Reading View mode at each sheet.

Switch to Editing View

Perform the following to switch from the Reading View mode to the Editing View mode.

  1. Click View-Reading View.
  2. Enter or modify data.

Hide Formula Bar

Perform the following to hide the formula.

  1. Click View-Reading View.
  2. Click View-Document Window and then clear the selection of Formula Bar.
