Table - Cell Margins

It allows you to specify different inside margin for each cell if necessary. Inside margin here refers to distance between the cell content and the cell border.

Specify cell margins

1. Place the pointer in the cell where you want to change its margins
2. Type the desired value in the Left Margin, Right Margin, Top Margin, or Bottom Margin under Cell margin of the Table task pane, or click the plus or minus button to change each value.
3. Place the pointer another cell where want to change its margins and repeat the steps above.

Default cell margin values

The left and right margins are 7px by default, and no top or bottom margins are applied.
