Bookmark

This feature is useful when you want to bookmark a reference section or remember the section you were working on last time.


Insert a bookmark

To insert a bookmark in the designated location:

  1. Move the mouse pointer where you want to insert a bookmark.
  2. Click Insert-Bookmark.
  3. Enter the name of the bookmark on the Bookmark dialog box.
  4. Click Insert. The bookmark will be added to the list, and a bookmark icon will appear next to the selected text or object.

Go to bookmarks

To jump to the bookmarked target within the document:

  1. Click Insert-Bookmark.
  2. Select the bookmark from Bookmark List to which you wish to jump on the Bookmark dialog box.
  3. Click Move. It moves to the bookmark you have selected.

Delete a bookmark

To delete a bookmark from the document:

  1. Click Insert-Bookmark.
  2. Select the bookmark you wish to delete from Bookmark List of the Bookmark dialog box.
  3. Click Delete to delete the selected bookmark.

Bookmark Dialog Box

Bookmark Name

Type the name of a bookmark to add.


Bookmark List

A list of bookmarks added to the current document is displayed.


Insert Button

Insert the bookmark whose name is typed to the document.


Delete Button

Delete the selected bookmark from Bookmark List.


Go To Button

Move to the position where the bookmark you selected from the bookmark list is.


Cancel Button

Close the dialog box without saving changes.


Note

Show Marks for Bookmarks

If you select View-Show All Formatting Marks, marks for bookmark are displayed on the editing screen, and you can easily check where the bookmarks have been added. These marks will not be printed out.
