Use the video address or source code on the Internet to link to play directly from the current document.

Steps

To link a web video

  1. Click InsertWeb Video.
  2. In the Insert Web Video dialog box, paste the video address or source code you copied into the input field and click Insert.
  3. The linked web video is inserted in the editing window.

Copy and paste the web video address or source code to link.

Insert the web video you want to link into the edit window.

 

Cancel

Close the dialog box without inserting the web video to link into the edit window.

 

Available formats for link and input

Only YouTube videos can be linked, and the following input formats are accepted for the fields in the Insert Web Video dialog box:

  • www.youtube.com/watch?v="uniqueID"
  • http://youtu.be/"uniqueID"
  • <iframe src=“www.youtube.com/embed/"uniqueID"" ...></iframe>
  • <object> ... %lt;embed src="www.youtube.com/v/"uniqueID"" ...></embed></object>

 

Caution

Web video playback not supported in some environments

Web video playback is not supported in a user environment where security level in the web browser is set to High. If the web video does not play, check the security level of the web browser.

If you are an enterprise user, you may not be able to change the security level. Please contact your organization's security policy administrator for more information.
