Insert a comment.

As you create your documents, you can insert what you need to note, or what you need but do not need to type in the body as a comment.

Steps

Insert a comment

  1. Click Insert-Comment-New Comment.
    Or click the Comment icon on the toolbox.
  2. When the comment icon is inserted, enter the content in the text box of the Comments task pane.
  3. To reply on a specific comment, select the comment and type in the reply field in the Comments task pane.

Edit a comment

  1. Right-click the comment you want to edit, then click Edit Comment from the context menu.
  2. Edit the comment in the Comment task pane.

Change style of a comment

  1. Right-click the comment you want to edit, then click Comment Style from the context menu.
  2. Select and apply the desired style from the list.

Context Menu

After inserting a comment, right-click the comment icon to open the context menu.

  • New Comment

    Insert a new comment.

  • Edit Comment

    Edit existing comments.

  • Delete Comment

    Delete a comment.

    • Delete Comment

      Delete the selected comment.

    • Delete All Comments on This Slide

      Delete all comments inserted in the current slide.

  • Comment Style

    Select and apply the desired style from the list.
